Simultaneously, Samsung cautioned that the memory deficit caused by the AI surge might intensify in the upcoming year. The organization anticipates this deficiency will persist until 2028, as reported by Reuters. Nonetheless, the firm's prediction failed to ease investor worries regarding the substantial investments tech firms are making in AI infrastructure.

On July 30, Samsung stocks increased by 8.4% in Seoul. Later, they reduced their profits throughout the trading session and concluded the day with a decline of 0.7% compared to the prior close.

Samsung's revenue for the second quarter rose 130% compared to the previous year, reaching 171.5 trillion won ($118.7 billion), and operating profit jumped 1814% to 89.5 trillion won ($62.4 billion). According to LSEG, analysts, on average, anticipated revenue of 172.65 trillion won ($120.37 billion) and operating profit of 88.13 trillion won ($61.4 billion).
