According to Musk, the business operations of xAI will be organized into four primary areas.  One team will work on the Grok chatbot, another team will focus on an AI programming model, a third team will handle an image generation model, and a fourth team will be dedicated to the Macrohard project, which is designed to model software products using artificial intelligence.

Musk stated that Macrohard is expected to become our most significant project in the future. He imagines the possibility of using AI to fully simulate every task that humans currently carry out through computer systems as part of business operations.

As part of the reorganization, some employees will leave xAI, which is necessary because of the company's rapid growth, he explained. He added that the departing employees were "better suited for the early stages" of xAI's development. "As we reach a certain scale, we'll organize the company to be more efficient at that scale," the billionaire said.

The co-founders of the startup, Jimmy Ba and Yuhuai Tony Wu, announced their exit via the social media platform X.

Musk stated that the startup is already surpassing its competitors in fields like image and video creation, voice AI, and forecasting, even though it was founded years or even decades after other top AI research labs. xAI was established three years ago.
