Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran's permanent representative to the UN, indicated during the NPT Review Conference that Iran will resume full compliance with its JCPOA obligations once it obtains assurances from the United States of the financial rewards of doing so.

"Iran has been in good faith talks with the other parties for restarting full implementation of the agreement since April 2021.

Because the U.S. has not yet chosen to ensure that Iran would obtain the economic benefits promised by the accord, achieving this goal has been postponed "said Takht-Ravanchi.

"Iran will in turn suspend its remedial actions and begin full implementation of nuclear-related measures under the 2015 agreement when the U.S. makes the right decision," he continued.
