The merger with TAE represents Donald Trump's effort to penetrate the swiftly expanding sector of energy provision for artificial intelligence systems.

In 2026, the merged company aims to start building the globe's inaugural industrial-scale nuclear fusion power facility (50 MW), succeeded by more nuclear fusion power plants with capacities between 350 and 500 MW. They will all supply power for data centers and AI requirements.

The firms still require authorization from US authorities for the building of these reactors.
