Leading US chip giants Intel, Qualcomm, and Nvidia met with senior officials from the administration of US President Joe Biden on July 17, according to Reuters, which cited sources familiar with the conversations and a State Department spokesperson.

The policy governing the export of goods from the American semiconductor sector to China was one of the key issues of the meeting.
