According to the plan, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, is to establish the European Future Fund, which would invest in European companies with high potential of more than $ 100 billion. This should help compete with the American and Chinese technology giants.

The authors of the plan insist that Europe show more determination in the trade war of Donald Trump, in particular, introduced duties against the United States.

Recall that earlier the EU has threatened the United States with trade duties for $ 39.1 billion in total. This will happen if Washington introduces duties on European cars. At the same time, the US President noted that Europe behaves worse than China in trade matters and “profits” from the country.
