The shares were sold under a plan established in March, allowing for the sale of up to 6 million shares by the year's end. In June, he had already sold approximately $15 million in securities as part of this program.

Last year, as part of a similar initiative, Huang sold Nvidia stock valued at approximately $700 million.

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index states that the top manager's wealth has increased by roughly $29 billion (over a quarter) since the start of the year, hitting $143 billion, bringing him near the iconic investor Warren Buffett, who has $144 billion.

Simultaneously, Fortune, soon after the market opened on Friday, assessed Huang's wealth at $143.7 billion and Buffett's at $142.1 billion.

On Wednesday, Nvidia made history as the first company whose market value surpassed $4 trillion.
