New head of the UN General Assembly supports reforms in UN

Csaba Kőrösi, the president of the 77th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, which begins on September 13, has advocated for overhauling the organization.

Kőrösi discussed the need for the UN, including the General Assembly, to undergo reform and change. He also emphasized the importance of building confidence in order to develop cooperation.

The head of the UNGA declared, "Solutions through solidarity, sustainability, and science shall be the motto of my administration."

He also mentioned that he will be working to make the UNGA more effective. Kőrösi in particular envisioned a comprehensive strategy that prioritized sustainability, human rights, and peace and security.
