“Europe has initiated the most extensive military initiative in contemporary history. Starting now, an extra two trillion euros will be designated for defense expenditure by 2031,” Kallas stated during the address at the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS).

“Furthermore, we are enhancing our defense abilities. Ammunition production in the EU annually is six times greater than it was two years prior,” she added.

Kallas stated, “We must also enhance production in areas where we face shortages, including air defense and precision-guided missiles.”
