The global infrastructure and investment partnership will implement ground-breaking projects to close infrastructure gaps in developing countries, strengthen the global economy and supply chain, and advance U.S. national security interests, the message reads.
In the very near future, a formal statement regarding the start of the program is anticipated from the White House and other G7 community leaders.
According to the government, the United States would invest $600 billion, along with its G7 partners, in the development of global infrastructure until 2027.
