The previous record of $ 10.05 trillion was set in 2015. However, then it was followed by a protracted fall in the stock market caused by the restrictions imposed by the authorities on trading using leverage. As a result, in a few months, the volume of the country's stock market decreased by almost half.

Now, the Chinese stock market is growing on positive news about the state of the country's economy, which is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic faster than analysts expected. So, on the eve, China reported on record volumes of exports and imports in September.

Imports to China rose 12.3% from last September, up 0.3% more than analysts polled by Reuters had expected. Exports in September grew by 9.9% year-on-year, almost in line with analysts' forecasts (10%).
