Sources indicate that investors are watching Magnum's stock price as they prepare to make a bid decision.

Unilever finished the Magnum spinoff in December 2025, assessing the ice cream producer's worth at €7.8 billion. This year, its stock price has climbed to €16.50 and dipped to €11. On Friday, the firm's stocks surged 14% in Amsterdam trading to €14.80.

Unilever holds a 19.9% interest in Magnum and intends to withdraw in the next five years.

One of Reuters' sources informed that both Blackstone and CD&R are awaiting the company's summer sales report prior to making a decision. A large segment of Magnum's yearly income occurs in the summer.

Sources from the agency indicate that other private equity funds are expressing interest in purchasing the company as well.
