They will receive money from the "Bezos Earth Foundation". The billionaire wrote in Instagram that these organisations "are working on innovative, ambitious and dynamic solutions".

The money will go to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), ClimateWorks Foundation, World Resources Institute and other organisations. They will receive between $5 million and $100 million.

According to Mr. Bezos, the allocation of $791 million is just the beginning of donations for activists, scientists and non-profit organizations.

In January, billionaire George Soros allocated $1 billion to fight against authoritarian governments and climate change.

In his opinion, these two problems threaten the survival of civilizations. Bill Gates has allocated $650 million to fight COVID-19 since the pandemic began and has become the world's largest contributor to this end.
