From April to June, hydrocarbon production rose by roughly 2.5% compared to the corresponding period in 2024, reaching 2.44 million barrels of oil equivalent daily.

The average selling price of the company’s liquid hydrocarbons from April to June was nearly $7 per barrel less than in the first quarter, and $15 per barrel lower than the same period last year. Specifically, the average cost of Brent oil was $67.9 per barrel compared to $75.4 per barrel in January-March and $85 per barrel in the second quarter of the previous year.

The press release highlights that a drop in LNG prices and a decline in gas trading volumes adversely impacted the outcomes of the Integrated LNG division. LNG prices in the recent quarter decreased by 9% compared to the earlier quarter and fell by 2.4% from a year ago.

The company's downstream performance benefited from a rise in refining margins (to $35.3 per ton from $29.4 per ton in the first quarter). TotalEnergies anticipates that the profit for the Integrated Power division in the second quarter ranged from $500 to $550 million.
