Supercell itself earned $ 80 million during this period; the remaining income was distributed among the app stores themselves. As the portal Newzoo notes, most of the purchases fell on iOS-devices. Recall that the game has been officially released on March 1 this year.

It is worth noting that Supercell missed release of Clash Royale on the Android platform in China. The game there will be introduced through local company Kunlun. According to Newzoo’s experts, the project’s launch in China should have a positive impact on the Supercell’s performance.

More than half of the money brought from iOS version in March came from the United States and China. Germany and Brazil also showed good results. 33% of iOS version revenue came from North America, 31% - from Asia, 23% - from Europe, 9% - from Latin America, another 4% fell on the rest of the countries.

Many feared that with Clash Royale’s release would had a negative impact on revenues from the game developer’s flagship game - Clash of Clans. However, this did not happen, and the launch of the new project had practically no effect on the market’s veteran. Proceeds from the mini-transactions in Clash of Clans in March slipped to 10%.

In March this year, Supercell also revealed the financial results for 2015 based on data from three of its games: Clash of Clans, Boom Beach and Hay Day. With their help, the studio earned $ 964 million profit for the year (before taxes, depreciation and amortization).

Supercell is a Finnish company founded in 2010. It is engaged in the development of games for mobile platforms. The company employs 85 people. It is headed by Ilkka Paananen, who previously held the post of President of Digital Chocolate. Most of the company’s revenues are brought by Clash of Clans game released in August 2012, yet exact figures on income has not been disclosed yet. In 2015, the game was on the top lines of the most profitable applications rating. According to VentureBeat’s assumption, Clash of Clans can be considered one of the most successful mobile games in the world.

Total revenue from Supercell’s three key projects for 2015 was $ 2.32 billion at the end of 2015. For comparison, in 2014 the company's profit before taxes was $ 592 million with revenue of $ 1.77 billion. The company also announced the payment of dividends to its shareholders totaling approximately $ 669 million ($ 15.5 per share). In addition, in 2015 Supercell launched a buyback program of its shares for $ 128 million.

Separately, we note that the first official Championships in Clash Royale was held in Finland a few days ago. This event was the first such experience for Supercell. The premiere attracted great attention – the stream recording has already collected more than 1.3 million viewers. Taken together, the data on income in the first month of the project confirms the successful launch of the game.
