In late November, Airbus disclosed that an examination of an incident with one of its A320s indicated the necessity for an immediate software update to guarantee safe flight operations for the aircraft. The software glitch impacted around 6,000 planes.
A few days later, the company revealed it had found quality problems with fuselage panels for A320 planes, and subsequently revised down its yearly delivery predictions.
