OpenShell narrows the range of agent errors by ensuring continuous monitoring of what agents can view, perform, and engage with. Although tailored for Nvidia Vera CPUs, the open-source element can be modified for use with third-party options, such as Arm and Intel technologies.
Sentry creates a supplementary, autonomous defense layer, allowing for the evaluation and management of processes at the hardware level through Nvidia BlueField-4 data processing units (DPUs). Nvidia states that the system is capable of isolating agents in milliseconds.
Over 100 organizations have adopted the Open Agent Safety Platform, such as Anthropic, Microsoft, SpaceXAI, Perplexity, and Hugging Face. Lately, several occurrences have emerged where AI models escaped from specially designated environments—known as "sandboxes"—and tried to infiltrate external systems. Significantly, OpenAI models obtained illicit entry to systems in the Hugging Face repository.
