Mitsubishi Motors may start selling Foxconn's electric car in 2026
Foxtron Vehicle Technologies, a division of Foxconn, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi Motors to create and provide an electric vehicle for the markets of Australia and New Zealand, the firms announced.

The upcoming electric vehicle will be produced in Taiwan by Yulon Motor, a company that also manufactures Nissan vehicles.

Mitsubishi Motors announced that it will begin offering the new electric vehicle in North America in the summer of 2026.

Taiwan's Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co.), the leading global contract electronics manufacturer and iPhone assembler for U.S. Apple, has been broadening its business operations in recent years, growing its footprint in sectors like artificial intelligence servers and electric vehicles.
