Liquid crypto exchange will return money to buyers of Gram tokens

01/16/2020 - 08:30

Liquid cryptocurrency exchange announced that it has canceled sale of Gram tokens. Those users who participated in the purchase of tokens will be able to return their funds. The exchange stated that it is obliged to return all the money, since TON Mainnet was not launched by November 30, 2019. Earlier, the court ordered Telegram to share data on banking operations during the ICO.

“Each Liquid member who has submitted an application for the purchase of Gram tokens through Liquid will receive an email in the coming days with more detailed information,” the exchange stated.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) doubted that the blockchain project of Telegram app’s founder Pavel Durov could able to raise more than $ 1.5 billion before the end of the ICO. According to them, the TON project continued to accept investments after March 2018, which violated the US law.
