Third World War is coming, but it's good - said one of the Asian richest men Jack Ma, the founder and CEO of Alibaba Group, adding that Internet and its various platforms may trigger the global conflict.

However, it won’t set countries against each other. Instead, countries such as China and the US, will unite to defeat the social evils.

- The Third World War is inevitable, but it will not break out between countries - Ma said in a speech at the Economic Club in New York.

- In this war, we will work together against disease, poverty, climate change, and I believe that this is our future.

Ma said that he seeks to contribute in such a conflict and the mission of Alibaba e-commerce globalization may help achieve this goal.

- It's not about money, it's in my dreams, - he said about the future of the Internet.

Alibaba, a Chinese e-commerce company, is working to expand its international presence. Currently, Ma is promoting its platform for American business in the US.

Many believe that his platform could be a potential competitor to the US giant Amazon and similar platforms, however, there are those who are skeptical about this possibility. Nevertheless, Ma stressed that his company is not similar to Jeff Bezos’ Internet giant.

- From the US point of view, Amazon, probably, is the only business model for e-commerce, but in sober fact, we're very different, - he said.

Ma stressed that the use of the platform Alibaba is a good way for small businesses to succeed in the global market of digital products, and he called on US companies to take part in it.

- We have great respect for eBay and Amazon, but I believe that the opportunities and strategies that we provide will help America's small businesses enter the China market and sell their products, - he said, noting that the Chinese middle class is about equal to the entire population of America and continues to grow.

Ma also said that Alibaba’s new strategy give many opportunities for American companies to expand their customer base, as his company seeks to expand its own customer base with the aim of building a world empire.

- China has focused on exports in the past 20 years, and I believe that we can switch to imports within the next 20-30 years. China has to learn to fly, China needs to spend money, China should buy a lot of goods all around the world - he said. - And I think the American small business; American products should also enter the Chinese market.

In his speech in New York, Ma mainly talked about e-commerce, but he also noted that his company has other important goals. Alibaba has signed a number of deals in the field of cloud storage.

His company, which in May reported a higher income, is also seeking to find other ways to generate revenue in the US market. The company's report states that it has invested in a startup Snapchat.

A report published earlier this year, show that Ma has ceased to be the richest man in China, its state is $ 24.5 billion, second only to energy tycoon Li Heyjun. However, last month, Li has lost almost $ 15 billion, so that Ma once again have a chance to become the richest man in the country.

In any case, this title is of little importance to Ma. Back in November, in an interview with CNBC, he said that he does not like the status of super-rich, which he received as a result of the historic IPO of Alibaba, which brought him $ 25 billion.

- People say: 'Jack, it’s great to be a rich! Yes, it's great, but not when you are the richest man in China. It is a big problem, because when you're the richest man in the world, everyone is flying around you hoping for money - he said then. - Today, when I walk down the street, people look at me different.

In fact, Ma said, he would have chosen a completely different life, because his life has become "much worse" after the record IPO, which resulted in a fortune for him.
