Israel requests $10 billion in military aid from the U.S.

The New York Times reported, citing three informed individuals, that Israel has asked the United States for $10 billion in emergency military assistance.

Congress is presently working with the White House to develop the relief package.

According to the report, funding will also be provided for Taiwan, the U.S.-Mexico border, and Ukraine.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer stated while on a visit to Tel Aviv that US lawmakers talked about giving Israel 155-millimeter ammunition, JDAM aerial bombs, precision-guided bombs, and Iron Dome missile defense system munitions.
