For the week ending June 17, net inflows into these funds approached nearly $120 billion, based on estimates from EPFR and Bank of America.

The primary focus was on the technology industry and the biggest firms in the United States. In this context, investments from American technology firms reached $19.2 billion, whereas investments from major corporations totaled $60.5 billion.

Investors were indeed wagering on the persistence of the AI surge and the increase of valuations in the tech sector.

Simultaneously, the demand in different markets has significantly declined. The outflow from Chinese funds nearly increased threefold in a week, reaching $9 billion, while European funds saw an outflow of $1.2 billion.

Market participants suggest that some capital might move to the United States because of fewer comparable growth factors and decreased geopolitical risks.
