Google to start manufacturing Pixel smartphones in India

Google, a subsidiary of the holding company Alphabet Inc., has declared its intention to begin producing Pixel smartphones in India. These will be the newest, eighth series of Pixels. They will go on sale early in 2024.

Google senior vice president Rick Osterloh stated, "We are committed to delivering the best hardware and software solutions to customers in India." India is a priority market for Pixel devices.

Apple Inc. had earlier disclosed ambitions to diversify its production and move part of its capacity to India.

Alphabet's market capitalization has increased by 56% to $1.77 trillion from the start of 2023.
