During the first quarter, the eurozone economy stayed the same as the prior quarter and increased by 0.5% in relation to January-March 2025. This data was adjusted upwards; it was earlier reported to decrease by 0.2% and to increase by 0.3%, respectively.
In Germany, France, and Italy, GDP rose by 0.2% quarter-on-quarter in April-June, by 0.4% in the Netherlands, and by 0.7% in Spain.
The EU economy expanded by 0.5% in the last quarter relative to the prior three months and by 1.2% compared to the same period last year.
This is the initial of three GDP estimates. The second assessment will be released on August 14.
