“We are in communication with the French authorities regarding this and other matters, but I would like to remind you of the objective of the Digital Services Act (DSA). The DSA does not conduct criminal investigations. The DSA is designed to tackle the systemic risks that digital platforms pose to individuals,” the spokesperson stated during a briefing in Brussels on Tuesday. “That is the scope of the DSA, and I will not prejudge the work of the French authorities here.”
