China's exports show record growth in two months 2021

China's exports and imports in January-February 2021 showed record growth amid a strong economic recovery and an improving epidemiological situation, data from China's General Administration of Customs show.

In January-February this year, China's exports rose 60.6% year-on-year to 468.8 billion dollars, while imports rose 22.2% to 365.6 billion dollars.

China's total foreign trade for the two months of this year rose 41.2% in dollar terms to $834.4 billion.

The trade surplus amounted to $103.2 billion.

At the end of 2020, China's foreign trade turnover grew by 1.5% to $4.65 trillion. The foreign trade surplus was $535 billion ($2.59 trillion in exports, $2.05 trillion in imports).
