Boeing says commercial aircraft market rebounds

The company has appointed a new supply chain executive tasked with restoring industrial supply lines to "as favorable a condition as possible".

Ihssane Mounir, the newly appointed head of internal and external supply chain, will integrate supply chain strategies and requirements across all aircraft programs, according to Boeing commercial aircraft business general manager Stan Deal.

"We are seeing strong signs of resilience and global market recovery," Deal said in a note to suppliers outlining the changes, as quoted by Reuters.
