Siri has been connected to ChatGPT as a result of collaboration between OpenAI and Apple. According to sources, Apple is currently working on tools that will enable Siri to be used by other chatbots available in the App Store.
Support for third-party AI applications is scheduled to be included in the upcoming iOS 27 update. They will also have the ability to use the new Siri app and other parts of the Apple Intelligence platform.
This feature enables users to send queries to models like Gemini, Claude, and others through Siri, and it also allows Apple to boost subscription income from third-party AI services via the App Store.
Apple is anticipated to reveal its latest advancements, including innovations related to artificial intelligence, during the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WDC) on June 8.
