Apple is developing a minimum of two versions of the eyewear. The initial model, referred to as N50, is anticipated to be revealed next year and launched in 2027, according to insiders. This model will link to an iPhone and will lack a screen.
A model featuring a screen is also in development. Its launch was initially scheduled for 2028, but the company now aims to speed up development.

Meta released new smart glasses featuring an integrated display at the end of September. They can be managed with a unique Neural Band, and the packaged version is priced at $799.
The display within one lens of the glasses can show text messages, video calls, and replies from the Meta AI assistant. For uploading photos and videos, a connection to a smartphone is necessary.
