Analyzing mobile data, App Annie notes that this year its global ranking of the largest publishers of mobile apps, Top Publisher Award, includes 52 leading companies leading in terms of revenue from January 1 to December 31, 2019 on iOS and Google Play. The rating does not include revenues from advertising or other funds received outside application stores.

The global ranking includes companies from 12 countries. The leaders are the Chinese Tencent and NetEase, and the American Activision Blizzard on the third line – just like the last year.

Companies from the gaming segment continue to dominate the ranking, receiving 72% of all user spendigs in mobile app stores. This year, Asian companies took up more than half of the ranking places - 27 out of 52, including five in the top ten. In turn, the United States became the country that represented the largest number of companies in the world ranking (17).
