They claim that communication issues have gotten worse, particularly in Russia's annexations of the Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, and the regions of Kherson and Zaporozhye.

Elon Musk, the creator of SpaceX, stated on Twitter that he was unable to comment on the situation on the front lines. At that, he claims that only a small portion of the Ukrainian Starlink terminals has been paid for.

The Ukrainian military was worried about communication issues in areas under Russian control, according to FT sources. Mr. Musk notes that SpaceX spent $80 million supporting Starlink this year, and by the end of the year, that cost will rise to $100 million.

Elon Musk declared that Starlink is operational across all continents on September 19. According to SpaceX, the network enables 1 Gbit per second Internet access. Residents of Russia, Afghanistan, Belarus, Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, China, North Korea, and Syria are unable to connect to the network.
