Nintendo to replace U.S. segment President and create CEO position

Nintendo Co., the Japanese console and video game manufacturer, has named Devon Pritchard, its executive vice president of revenue, marketing, and customer experience, as the president of its U.S. division, the company disclosed.

Pritchard, with 19 years of experience in the gaming industry, will take over from Doug Bowser on January 1 and will also become a member of Nintendo's executive board and the board of directors for the U.S. division.

Bowser was president of Nintendo of America (NOA) for a duration of six years.

“Today, I shared my plans to depart from Nintendo, effective December 31, 2025,” he posted on the X social media platform. “For 44 years, Nintendo has been a key part of my life, beginning with Donkey Kong in the arcades while I was in college.”

Pritchard mentioned that she plans to enhance her endeavors to build relationships with gaming enthusiasts.

Furthermore, Satoru Shibata, a member of Nintendo's board, will assume the role of CEO at NOA.
