Lego to invest over $1B in carbon-free plant

"Lego Group has announced intentions to invest more than $1 billion in the construction of a new facility in Chesterfield County, Virginia," said the company. The new facility will be 160,000 square feet in size and will employ over 1,760 people, according to the Lego Group.

The new plant's construction will begin in the fall of 2022, with Lego manufacturing set to commence in the second half of 2025.

The Lego facility in Virginia will be the company's seventh worldwide and second on the continent of North America.

History of Lego, one of the most well-known brands in the world, started in 1932. Hundreds of themed construction kits with toy people, animals, and tiny vehicles are the major goods. The corporation also publishes books, films, and video games.
