According to Israeli media, Israel is thinking of setting up a temporary military government in the Gaza Strip to handle humanitarian matters until the end of the military assault.

Later on, the Gaza Strip will be governed by an international coalition of Arab governments, comprising Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates.

The next step will be the creation of a body known as the New Palestinian Authority, which will be made up of people who are not associated with either the Palestinian Liberation Movement (Fatah), which is led by Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), or the extremist organization Hamas.

At that, Israel must continue to be allowed to carry out security operations in the Gaza Strip, just as it does in the West Bank areas under PNA authority.

Reducing terrorism among the Palestinian community and doing away with terrorist incitement in the school system are further goals of the post-war settlement plan.

Israeli media reported that Israel would consent to recognize a demilitarized Palestinian state on the territory of the Palestinian Authority if all phases are successfully finished within four years.
