Intel's net profit for 2019 remains at $ 21.05B

The net profit of the American company Intel, one of the world's largest manufacturers of computer components, at the end of 2019 remained approximately at the level of last year and amounted to $ 21.048 billion, the company said in a press release.

Diluted earnings per share were $ 4.71 versus $ 4.48 in 2018. At the same time, revenue increased by 1.6%, to $71.965 billion.

In the fourth quarter of last year, the corporation recorded a net profit of $ 6.905 billion, which is 33% higher than last year. Diluted earnings per share were $ 1.58 versus $ 1.12 a year earlier. The adjusted figure was $ 1.52, which was higher than analysts' forecast of $ 1.25 per share. Intel revenue for the reporting period in annual terms rose by 8%, to $ 20.209 billion, with analysts' forecasts of $19.2 billion.

At the same time, the company forecasts earnings per share for the first quarter of 2020 at about $ 1.23, and revenue of $ 19 billion. At the end of the year, Intel expects earnings per share of $4.71 and revenue at around $73.5 billion.

American Intel Corp. was founded in 1968. It produces a wide range of electronic devices and computer components, including microprocessors. As of December 28, 2019, the company employs 110.8 thousand people.
