Although in March the price of their shares, as well as the shares of other companies, fell quite strongly, since then their value has recovered and has grown to values higher than before the crisis.

Since the strongest fall in March, the total capitalization of these corporations has grown by $ 1.7 trillion, that is, 43%, which is better than average growth rates for US companies as a whole - the growth was 33% for them, writes the Financial Times.

Thanks to this, the share of technological giants in the total capitalization of companies from the S&P 500 has also grown - now they account for 24% of the total value of companies from the S&P 500, which is three percentage points more than before the crisis caused by the pandemic.
