Facebook will open offices on July 6. The company has not yet decided who exactly will be offered to return there. The company representative noted that the situation is changing and the decision whether to return to the office or not will be made by employees themselves and their families.

Previously, Facebook employees received bonuses of $ 1,000 for work from home.

Google previously intended to start returning employees back to offices from June 1, but now they’ve changed their minds.

Sundar Pichai, the company's general director, announced that he would be returning to offices in July, subject to stringent security measures in place. He added that most employees who can work fully from home will be allowed to stay there until the end of the year.

Already at the end of February, Facebook decided to cancel the large conference of software developers, which was supposed to be held in early May in San Jose.

In mid-April, the head of the company, Mark Zuckerberg, announced that large events with more than 50 people will be canceled until the end of June 2021, and employees will be allowed to remain in a remote place at will until the end of summer.
