EON to create a unit for gas and electricity trading in Europe

The company, known as EON Energy Markets, will increase portfolio management efficiency. The business will place an emphasis on connecting with shops and winning their support.

EON will also develop a trading platform for goods like long-term supply agreements, power purchase agreements, and renewable gas and energy.

According to Patrick Lammers, the EON board member in charge of customer solutions, the new platform would allow the company "add value to its portfolio while delivering renewable energy to our customers at competitive prices."
