In addition, it will continue to collaborate with Italian manufacturers of eco-friendly materials, which are intended to replace raw materials of animal origin in clothing and accessories.

The fashion designers say they aim for a more sustainable future in which there can be no place for the use of animal fur and intend to introduce innovative materials and production processes that do not threaten the environment, while preserving jobs and "skills that were threatened with extinction".

Previously, Armani, Gucci, Valentino and Versace reported on their refusal to use natural fur. They joined a wide list of fashion houses, including Burberry, Chanel and Prada, which opted for artificial materials. At the end of 2021, the Italian authorities officially banned the breeding of fur-bearing animals for fur.
