At the traditional autumn presentation, which took place on September 15, the American corporation limited itself to novelties in only two product lines. The company presented an updated iPad lineup - the fourth generation iPad Air and iPad 8, as well as new versions of the Apple Watch - Series 6 and the budget Apple Watch SE.

Apple CEO Tim Cook began his presentation with the Apple Watch, giving several examples of how devices help people, including saving lives. Apple's line of smartwatches has expanded with a new series of devices, Series 6. Its flagship device, powered by the new S6 processor, will be able to monitor the level of oxygen in the blood, measuring the indicator in 15 seconds. For this model, Apple will for the first time release a watch in a red color scheme - Apple Product Red. Part of the funds from them is directed to the fight against various diseases, including HIV and COVID-19.

The company also introduced the budget Apple Watch SE, which received the S5 processor from the previous generation of watches.

In 2020, iPads celebrated their tenth anniversary, Tim Cook recalled. The company has sold over 500 million devices over the years, he said. The fourth-generation iPad Air, presented at the presentation, received an updated design that distinguishes it from other devices in the Air line and is similar to the latest iPad Pros. The device has become frameless and has lost the Home button under the display. The device's Touch ID sensor is built into the power button located on the top frame of the device. The diagonal of the tablet has increased to 10.9 inches.

Hardware changes have affected the iPad display - now it's Liquid Retina, as well as the connector, which has changed from Lightning to USB-C. The processor of the A14 tablet, according to Apple, is 40% faster than the previous generation. The iPad 8 is powered by the A12 processor and retains the design of the previous models.

Apple's software updates include a unified subscription to Apple One services. Apple News will be included to subscriptions in the US and some other markets.
