Analysts waiting for US inflation to hit 41-year high

Consumer prices in the United States in March rose 8.5% after 7.9% months earlier, DailyFX portal analysts believe.

The country's Ministry of Labor will publish the official release on consumer prices in the US in the morning of Tuesday, April 12. The indicator - in the case of coincidence with the opinion of analysts - will become the maximum since December 1981.

Same day, the Federal Statistical Bureau of Germany (Destatis) will publish the final information on inflation in the country for March. Analysts expect an acceleration of annual inflation to a historical record of 7.3% from 5.1% month earlier.

At the same time, the National Statistical Bureau will publish unemployment data in the UK, which as experts forecast, in December-February decreased to 3.8% from 3.9% earlier.

Economic Research Center will publish data on investor confidence index to the German economy. Analysts expect that the figure in April fell to minus 48 points with minus 39.3 points earlier.

Later, the US Department of Finance will publish a report on the state of the country's budget. As experts believe, in March, the country's budget deficit has decreased to 191 billion dollars with a deficit of 217 billion in February.
