According to Amazon, all parts of the service's infrastructure are located entirely within the European Union.
The first data centers for this European cloud service are already in operation in Brandenburg, Germany. Amazon has plans to increase its presence in the region, with additional data centers set to be built in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Portugal.
The service will be managed exclusively by European citizens based within the EU, as stated by the company.
