"People frequently claimed that World War III would begin in the Middle East. However, that will no longer occur," Trump said to reporters in Sharm El Sheikh during the Gaza summit.

As reported by local media, the signed agreement relies on Trump's previously unveiled peace plan, featuring 20 points and multiple phases for execution.

The initial phase required an immediate halt to hostilities and the freeing of hostages along with Palestinian detainees. On Monday, Israel received 20 hostages back alive.

The second phase aims to disarm Gaza and enforce further security protocols.

The third phase aims to implement governance in Gaza and rehabilitate the enclave. Specifically, it is suggested to establish a temporary administration led by Palestinian experts with oversight from international entities.
