The breach might have impacted employees and their relatives, along with individuals who reached out to customer service centers.

The company reported that credit card information was secure; however, names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers might have been exposed.

In late September, Asahi halted shipments of several drinks following a cyberattack that affected its order processing and delivery system.

The firm halted manufacturing at the majority of its 30 plants in Japan, interrupted order reception and shipping at its Japanese branches, and suspended call centers, including support services. The organization asserted that the assault was executed for the sake of extortion.
