According to the Mehr news agency, which cited Eslami, inspections were carried out at sites that remained undamaged following the war, and visits to additional sites are scheduled for the upcoming days.

Eslami stated that IAEA inspectors visited locations that were not affected by Israeli and American attacks in June "as part of ongoing cooperation and with the permission of the Supreme National Security Council."

He stressed that Iran's rights should be acknowledged and upheld as per the standards set by the IAEA.

On June 13, 2025, Israel initiated a military action targeting Iran with the goal of dismantling its nuclear program.  Iran retaliated by launching strikes against Israel.  On June 22, the United States targeted three nuclear facilities, which were Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.  After that, US President Donald Trump declared a ceasefire, which was accepted by both Iran and Israel.

On Friday, the first set of discussions between Iran and the United States in a long period occurred in the capital city of Oman.
