Coca-Cola itself confirmed that they are studying the market, but reminded that no decisions have been made so far. As highlighted in the company's statement, Coca-Cola is interested in the possibility of using cannabidiol in products - it is a cannabinoid substance in cannabinoids that is not psychoactive.

According to the agency, a new product may be a drink positioned as an element of a healthy lifestyle, which alleviates pain, relieves irritation and spasms.

If the parties reach an agreement, Coca-Cola will be the first major producer of soft drinks to enter the market of marijuana-related products.

As recalled by The New York Post, reports of possible cooperation between Coca-Cola and Aurora appeared against the backdrop of the growing number of US states ready to legalize marijuana, as well as on the eve of its full legalization in Canada.

Earlier, the brewing company Molson Coors announced its intention to open a production of marijuana-based beverages together with Hydropothecary Corp, and the well-known beer giant Corona invested $ 4 billion in the producer of marijuana Canopy Growth.
