According to the metric, Amazon will therefore top the delivery companies, according to the newspaper. It has already delivered more than 4.8 billion parcels in the US before Thanksgiving, which falls on November 23.

It is unlikely that United Parcel Service (UPS) will deliver more domestic parcels this year than it did the 5.3 billion last year. Its volumes in the first nine months of 2023 came to approximately 3.4 billion.

FedEx Corp. used its ground and express delivery services to deliver roughly 3.05 billion packages within the United States by the end of its fiscal year on May 31.
