Trump made these statements to reporters while addressing a post on X by Vice President J.D. Vance, who noted the conflict with Iran as a key factor in the Democrats’ success. “However, if given the opportunity to repeat it [the operation], I would have to take the same approach,” Trump informed the media.

The recent U.S. midterm elections for Congress have just concluded. Estimates suggest that the Democratic Party is obtaining the majority of votes.

CBS News reported that Trump aimed to hold Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth accountable for the Republicans’ disappointing results and even contemplated his resignation. Trump himself rejected these claims, asserting that the Secretary of Defense is “performing well.”
