“We denounce any action that infringes upon basic rights and disrupts the delivery of essential services for everyday living.” “Our main focus is to boost assistance and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian supplies to Gaza by all possible methods,” El Anouni stated during a briefing in Brussels.

It was previously reported that the Israeli government decided to halt electricity supply to the Gaza Strip, alongside blocking humanitarian aid deliveries.

The Israeli side justifies its actions as necessary to pressure Hamas into hastening the return of hostages.
