“We’ll concede that export growth will not be as rapid as it has been in prior years. Predictability in the market is now more crucial to Ukrainian exporters and producers than rapid growth,” stated the minister, quoted by Bloomberg.
Mr. Kachka claims that the Ukrainian administration made a step forward and Kiev anticipates exporters to deliver goods only with approval from Polish authorities.
Polish farmers have been protesting against the importation of inexpensive grain from Ukraine since the fall of 2023. They began to block traffic checkpoints along the Ukrainian border in November.
